and quickly evolved into a fast-paced fashion career with a handbag and shoe brand in San Francisco. From there she moved back across the country to work for a women’s ready-to-wear collection as the director of public relations in NYC. After leaving NYC, she moved to Arizona to go back to school, and graduated with a BS in communication and a minor in media analysis from Arizona State University. Missing her work in fashion and hoping for some clarity for next steps, she moved to Florence, Italy to revisit her history working with Florentine tanneries and manufacturers so she could gain inspiration
for the future.

Every bride hopes and prays for a flawless wedding day, but sometimes, things don't always go to plan. Ahead of my first look with my husband, my dress was stepped on and the entire zipper ripped apart. Before I had any time to panic, Risa was there with her trunk of supplies formulating a plan to fix it. She spent the hour before my ceremony sewing, pinning and super-gluing me into my dress and the end product was seriously flawless -- It was as if nothing had ever happened!
Aside from her miracle work with my dress, Risa was there by my side throughout the day, adjusting my hair and veil, ensuring no one stepped on my train, and even making sure my ring wasn't twisted on my finger. Her attention to detail is world class, which is clearly evident in our wedding photos. I kept calling her my wedding day angel and I still stand by this!
